Children of the Nations is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to raising children out of poverty and hopelessness so they can become leaders who transform their nations. They specialize in caring for the most desperate children in some of the poorest countries in Africa and the Caribbean. They emphasize caring for the whole child--physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually--not just providing temporary relief. Their programs are built to be sustainable for the long-term and are led by local, in-country staff members who understand the culture and the children.
