Grand Rapids Catholic Committee on Scouting

The Grand Rapids Catholic Committee on Scouting is a diocesan committee of concerned Catholic lay people, Scout leaders, and clergy who mission is to administer to the Catholic youth of our community through Scouting as youth ministry. The committee seeks to sustain and strengthen the relationship between the Boy Scouts of America and the Grand Rapids Catholic Doicese by working closely in collaboration with its local packs, troops, and crews. Through interaction and dialogue with the Bishop through the Diocesean Youth Ministry Office, GRCCS works cooperatively with carious other groups involved in youth ministry in Western Michigan, including parish youth groups, Catholic schools, and Catholic service groups.
