Gender Action Tanzania

Gender Action Tanzania's mission is "To promote equitable society where women and men enjoy their human rights by combating gender-based violence and discrimination through advocacy, household economic strengthening, legal aid and research in mainland Tanzania."

Several of their objectives revolve around the empowerment of women within the country. This includes ensuring that women have the equal right to own land, access financial services. They also seek to eliminate all forms of violence against women in public and private.
