Fisherman Foundation

The mission of the Fisherman Foundation is to help the poor in the Philippines become self-sufficient using education and entrepreneurship. They currently focus on providing scholarships to young underprivileged women to obtain formal training and education for a career in the food service industry. After a two-year program, these promising young women graduate with culinary certifications and a high school degree. They are then placed to work in restaurants, hotels and country clubs etc. They have successfully achieved 100% job placement rate.
