Trees For The Future Of Uganda

Trees for the Future of Uganda (TFTFU) is a local Ugandan organization that was established to promote organic food systems in Uganda to show the people how to live a sustainable life and be an example for the plant so all can live healthier through conservation and community development work.

This is achieved through working with communities to improve livelihoods and restore degraded lands to sustainable productivity through planting beneficial trees that supply fuel wood, animal fodder, fruits, and green fertilizer, among other things. Through its initiatives, TFTFU attempts to balance the people's immediate, everyday needs while also teaching conservation.
